Event Information:

This online event will focus on driving development and regeneration across Luton and the surrounding region.

Infrastructure is playing a crucial role in the growth of Luton. The proposed Oxford Cambridge Arc is set to act as a catalyst for regeneration, whilst strong links to London and internationally through the airport means Luton is the perfect location for many developers and investors.

Luton Council is aiming to attract almost £2bn of investment into the area over the coming years and in this event we’ll hear from them and numerous private sector stakeholders who’re set to play a key role in that future development activity and achieving the Council’s strategic plans. They’ll share brief presentations revealing inside knowledge before the event opens up to questions from you, the audience.

Speakers for this event include:

  • Luton Borough Council – the Council are overseeing the unlocking of 8 key development sites which forms the spine of its £1.5bn regeneration agenda and as part of this session Laura will talk in depth about each site and its development timeline.
  • Strawberry Star – are London based residential and commercial investment property specialists, with assets worth over £1.4 billion. They are behind the award winning 6.9-acre mixed use Lu2on development, which will comprise 877 residential units, over 200 hotel rooms, retail space and gym space. This is a multi-year project with phase one set for completion in Q4 2021 with following phases thereafter. The project is part of Strawberry Star’s drive to deliver over 4,000 quality homes in London and surrounding commuter towns by 2025 with other current schemes in Wandsworth, Harlow, Nine Elms and Southall.
