The Liverpool City Region has found itself at the heart of some major investment over the past few years – the city is gaining traction is some huge projects being brought forward, and the success in numerous areas from footballs, to the arts and music continues to see the region draw in investors and developers. And it’s not just in the city – huge projects in the likes of Bootle and Birkenhead are helping to regenerate areas and create new vibrant neighbourhoods where people want to live, work and play – an exciting future is ahead for the Liverpool City Region.

On this event we’ll be hearing from some of those influential in shaping the regions future, and those who’re actively involved in game changing schemes and projects coming forward. They’ll share short presentations before you can get involved in the interactive Q&A and we have networking areas available for you to continue the conversation.

Speakers for this event include:

  • National Museums Liverpool – National Museums Liverpool are opening a major international placemaking competition aimed at encouraging ideas to improve prominent public spaces on their estate; they are also hoping to expand the National Slavery Museum in the coming years. Laura and her team play an important role in fostering inclusive economic growth in the city region and will talk in depth about her organisation’s significance in attracting inward investment.
  • MODA Living – MODA Living are behind the Lexington development which is part of the huge Liverpool Waters scheme. The development will consist of 325 bedrooms across 35 storeys, and will be the largest tower in the regenerated area. James will share insight into the project, as well as how the development will impact the area positively.
