Event Information:

Procurement remains one of the most significant challenges for the industry to address right across the board; the public sector clients, framework providers and also contractors and consultants.

So what’s going well and what are the challenges? What does best practice look like and how can we achieve it? Is social value just a current buzz word? Have climate emergency regulations had any effect? Frameworks or direct procurement?

This event will hopefully answer those questions with some of the biggest names in the industry – focusing more specifically on the South of England. We’ll hear from a panel of expert speakers from a range of backgrounds – Councils, Clients and Framework Providers.

Speakers include:

  • Pagabo – make procurement quicker, easier and more effective. They help public sector organisations across the UK by providing EU compliant framework agreements, a DPS and bespoke consultancy. Ben will talk about their current frameworks and what is planned for 2020 and beyond in addition to providing expert advice on procurement solutions.
  • Willmott Dixon – one of the UK’s leading privately-owned contractors in the industry – known for leaving a positive legacy in communities, collaborative schemes, innovation and sustainability. Noel, as Frameworks Director of their Interiors business, will talk about their approach to procurement both with clients and also their supply chain.
  • University of the West of England – as one of the UK’s fastest growing Universities, UWE are constantly evolving their estate and innovating in their procurement practices. As chief policy maker when it comes to frameworks, Helen will be on hand to give an inside track on what they look for when collaborating with partners.
