Event Information:

Derby is undergoing significant development and regeneration, with thousands of new homes, commercial space and more in the pipeline, and the focus on connectivity and infrastructure is set to see this continue.

In this webinar we’ll hear from some of the public and private sector leaders involved in driving these projects forward on their ongoing and future plans including delivery timeframes and procurement opportunities as they look to drive economic growth across Derbyshire.

Speakers for this event include:

  • Compendium Living – is a specialist in large-scale residential led redevelopment and regeneration projects, and have several current schemes across the Midlands and North of England. David will discuss Compendium’s ongoing, £100 million placemaking and regeneration project in the centre of Derby which has already delivered hundreds of houses, retail units and public space. A planning application for the next phase of the project that will include a school and additional housing was recently submitted and we will hear how it will progress over the coming months, as well as the vision for the project as a whole – which will deliver over 800 new homes when complete.
  • St James Securities – the developer behind St Paul’s Place in Sheffield and the award winning Round Foundry in Leeds are carrying out a major regeneration of the Becketwell area of Derby alongside the city council. The £200 million project to create a new urban quarter will include homes, a range of office space, a hotel, a 3,500-capacity venue and retail units. The first stage will see up to 310 BtR apartments, restaurants and a new public square. Paul will give further details on the scheme and how it will contribute to the social, economic and environmental fabric of the city.
  • Derby City Council – as the Council press ahead with their City Centre Masterplan which is designed to generate 4,000 jobs, 1,900 homes and leverage 33.5bn in new investment by 2030, Catherine will be talking about the sites that the Council are working to unlock for development. She will also talk about the exciting Infinity Park project which is a unique collaboration between the council, Rolls Royce, the Harper Crewe Estate and several developers.
