Previously he was an expert for the Oxford University Blockchain Strategy Programme as well as Head of Blockchain for Plutus, where he designed the industry’s first crypto-payment system to enable everyday use. He will discuss how organisations from all parts of the built environment can utilise and benefit from blockchain technologies.
  • Arup – Arup are renowned experts on the increasing intersection between technology and the built environment and how we can adapt to incorporate the new ideas into the industry. Matthias will discuss blockchain technology has the potential to become vital to the built environment as our cities continue to expand and diversify. He will discuss the blockchain’s potential applications in the realms of property, energy, transport and water supply and its potential to help solve the challenges of ageing populations, urbanisation and climate change.
