This webinar will focus on the much needed development of new homes across England.

The issue of how to accelerate the delivery of housing in all forms across England to meet the ever growing need has been at the forefront of the housing sector for years.

During this webinar we’ll take a look at what both large housebuilders and smaller SME’s are doing to accelerate their development.Taylor Wimpey are bringing forward large-scale development, whilst offsite construction is playing a bigger role than ever in L&Q Group’s plans to build 100,000 new homes. And then upcoming firms like Dolphin Living and Reach Homes are using innovative new solutions to grow their businesses and the amount of homes available in the UK.

These speakers will all share details via a short presentation of their approach to tackling the housing crisis, before the floor will open for delegates to ask questions and put forward their thoughts.

Speakers for this webinar include:

  • L&Q Group – the group has some of the most ambitious targets for housing delivery in the UK, highlighting a desire to build 100,000 homes, and they’ve recently acquired a housebuilder in the North West where almost 40,000 homes could be developed. With offsite manufacturing set to play a key role Jacqueline will share an overview of how they plan to hit this target, where they’re looking to develop, where they’re looking to acquire land, and who they may need to connect with in the industry to meet these targets.

Dolphin Living are providing much needed affordable living in London and Olivia will details how they’re doing this in a city known for highly priced residential builds, detailing the challenges but also the opportunities in the low-income end of the market.
  • Taylor Wimpey – Gary helps leads on some of Taylor Wimpey’s biggest projects across the country, making up a large part of the more than 15,000 the company builds each year. He will focus on projects such as the West Corby Urban Extension, which will see 4,500 new homes constructed in the East Midlands.
  • Reach Homes – an upcoming developer from Yorkshire, Reach Homes is planning to deliver 600 much needed homes by up-cycling major structures such as shipping containers to create sustainable and green homes.
